System Description
TS FileX allows users to send and receive files using only a web browser.
It solves problems sending big files by a mail server, because a mail servers is not designed to handle big files.
TS FileX has been designed with end-user convenience in mind.
The number of steps to send a file to a number of recipients is kept to a minimum.
The system is role base.
The roles at present are: Admin, List Owner and Group member
An Admin can setup and maintain other Admins and List Owners.
A List Owner can create group members and distribution lists.
A person in the system becomes a group member as soon as a list owner adds the person.
This process is completely transparent for the List Owner.
When a List Owner adds a person, the system checks if the person already exists.
If the person exists, this person will be added to the group of the List Owner.
Otherwise the person is created in the database and assigned to the group.
A List Owner does not explicitly have to create a group.
When deleting a person, the system does the reverse process of adding a person.
The system checks to see if the person is still linked to other groups.
If not, the person will be removed.
Otherwise the person will be removed from the group only.
